So what, you guys got rocked by Miami today (Where Chalmers should be arrested for thievery). Things happen you guys could even lose to the Lakers scrubs, just like portland lost to the warriors.

Doesn't matter who's healthy or not, a win is a win....

The race could be decided by then, that's just why it's something to keep an eye on.

DaRizzle didn't realize that Portland beat all the same teams Utah did. So his argument falls like a house of cards.

Exactly. We don't have to be healthy to beat great teams. But DaRizzle makes excuses for Utah. Bottom line- Blazers have a better record than Utah.

LOL, so your saying Boozer doesn't have shitty defense? It's ATROCIOUS. Watch him sometime. Michael Redd was on the olympic team too, is he a good defender? Both of those guys score points, do a little here and there, but I wouldn't want them on my team sucking balls on defense. Kirilenko has to save Boozer's ass most of the time

I totally agree. Whoever ends up with the better record would win the series, and I think that will be Utah. Although they really haven't looked good their last two games, but we'll see... I can't figure out why they're so bad on the road.

But the Lakers are legit, and fans can talk all the trash they want since their team will back it up :(

Yeah, teams should be within a game of each other by the time they meet @ Portland, if Boozer has his legs by then, I think Utah will steal that game.

They're not a smart team. If you watched the Miami game tonight, you'd know that. I couldn't believe what I saw. Blazers have lost 24 games, yes, but never for being that stupid.

And for the record, Utah is the 3rd team I wouldn't want to face in the first round behind SA and LA. So I do think they are good, I just think Boozer isn't worth much when you take his defense along with his offense.

Well I didn't watch the game tonight, but I saw the one this morning... I saw the last minute of regulation and the three overtimes so that's all I can talk about. But during that time they looked more tired than stupid.

No, what you do is post stats from a small sample size and skew them to give your one sided opinions. I think anybody who has been in this group of poster more than a month would agree with that statement

Up 5 with 50 secs left and the ball. All they had to do was run 24 secs off the clock, run their offense and get a score. Instead they push the ball and commit a charging foul, giving Miami plenty of time to get back in the game. Stupid, stupid play. And there's no reason to be tired. They had Thursday and Friday off. And they're healthy and kicking ass now, right?

We lost Roy too. We've lost 4 starters this season. And Rudy. And we beat a healthy Boston without Roy. But Utah is so impressive?

    Excuses, excuses.

Blazers are in FIRST PLACE. Deal with it.

You should appreciate how great the Blazers are. They had the biggest lead over the Lakers than any team has had all season. We played MUCH better against the Lakers than the healthy and kicking ass Jazz did.

Did you lose Roy for 10+ games..how about 40+? Utah was 5+ games out of 1st a month ago and were left for dead, so half a game isn't a biggie at this point with games against Portland & Denver coming up.

Webster scored 25 points when we won IN UTAH against a healthy Jazz team last season. And then he scored 24 points in the third quarter against the healthy Jazz in Portland, Yeah, he's an important player on our team. Luckily, we're so deep that a rookie has been able to admirably fill in for him.

and I never said it was better losing webster. Oden does a lot for our team so I'm not so sure (in drawing double teams, playing defense, intimidator), though I'd probably still give the nod to Boozer, but Oden hasn't been on the court enough to really make an All-Star impact.

Boozer's defense is horrible, I think they play better with Millsap who IMO is a better player. Boozer looks better with Kirilenko saving his ass. For Boozer to be effective he needs a clean up guy that can mask his defensive deficiencies.
