I finally got comcast through a company that only services 10% of the houses in my area and I still agree, (even tho im watching the game now).

FUCK COMCAST! Fuck Comcast's monopolistic tactics used in multiple cities across the nation.
    FUCK COMCAST...

Oh I know, I'm fully prepared. *sigh* I *ACTUALLY* looked at Comcast's HD lineup about a week ago in some psychotic mood that I would consider switching. BAHAHAHAHA what a joke! I get almost three times the HD channels with DirectTV, and that's NOT including PPV channels.

Fuck them, and I hate to say this, but Fuck the Blazers for selling their soul to the Devil for a buck.

i have very little compassion for anyone living inside of comcasts service area that is still bitching about this. if watching the blazers is that important to you, switch over. i know it sucks and comcast has been horrible about this but the facts are the facts. i don't bitch and moan because i can't get the NFL ticket, i realize that if it's that important i need to switch over and get DirecTv.

for those outside of comcasts service area and you can't get the blazers, but still get blacked out by NBA LP, than i really feel sorry for you.

I want to know if it is just our tvs or the channel itself. We have verizon and have been very upset with their service. We do get the comcast channel so we can see the games. However the channel stutters, freezes and skips. Does anyone have verizon or does anyone have this problem. It is not just the comcast channel. We were watching college basketball yesterday and at the end of the game there was 40 seconds left and the screen froze. The next thing we saw was there were 3.3 seconds left.

I'm not asking for any compassion, and I've been screwed enough by Comcast in the past to rule out switching back to them just to watch TV games I can typically see streamed on the internet. I really like to watch the opposing team feeds when they are available, and I bet the Blazer advertisers don't like to hear that. Oh well, I'm just running out the clock until Comcast starts defaulting on payments.

If the Blazers and their advertisers don't care that over 50% of the state and 40% of the metro area can't get their games, then why should I care enough to switch TV providers solely to watch 50-odd games on TV?

It's probably the one dark cloud left hanging over the franchise that needs to be resolved... Good deal financially for the team, horrible one for the fans.

I remember the days when we only got to see 25 or so games a year, unless you paid for "Blazervision". And that was during the Blazer's hay-day. I remember what a huge event it was whenever a Blazer game was actually on TV.

I get Comcast just to watch Blazer games, then switch it to basic in the off-season. The crap on TV is not worth $50 a month.

But you can get CSN through Verizon. I don't know all the details of this Comcast/Blazer deal, but could it be the fault of other carriers that they won't pay comcast enough to carry CSN? Why so much anger directed at Comcast, and not the Blazers organization, or other teams for not carrying the Blazers?

FSN decided to dump the Blazers, why not be pissed at FSN? Why not be pissed at Paul Allen for charging too much to carry the games? Why not be pissed at the players for sucking so bad that ratings went down? Why not be pissed at your local cable provider for not carrying CSN?

See, it's just business, and this is the way the cookie crumbled. It does suck for those who don't even live in the Comcast area though.

That statement reminds me of one of my favorite Kids in the Hall skit.
