keymatch up: ford vs. caledron should be a great game of two really bad teams but indiana has a brighter future here's the song that personifies this raptor team:
Might've been the most convincing Raptors win of the season (which is kind of sad, I guess). Jose won the matchup between his former teammate once and for all, and this has been the second straight game where's he's lived up to his contract. I'm not sure what to think about him supposedly being fully healthy for the first time, but it gives me an smidgeon of hope that he could be the PG we all thought we'd be getting when we traded Ford. Andrea was awesome. Nobody on the Pacers could guard him and he took advantage of that, bringing the assertiveness he just did not show in the first 3 months of the season. I liked how varied his scoring was. Outside shooting, awkward post moves, finishing fast breaks, getting to the free throw line: his offensive production was well-rounded. And his defense was solid as usual. There were a bunch of times when he got isolated on a PG from a switch against a pick and roll (I still don't get why Triano makes us do that all the time), but he moved his feet most of the time and forced them to pass out. Bosh and Marion were smiling today, for once. I suppose that's good news, given that they've looked like they want to get out in the worst way lately. Pops is the fucking man. I lost track of how many times he devoured the rim today.
