i'd love to have a jason terry type here

    i know it's probably impossible since i don't see dallas parting with him at all, but i think a jason terry type would be just ideal for this team. can play the 1 and 2, good shooter, decent defender and distributor. he's not an all-star, but he's just so solid. portland isn't going to get an all-star point guard via free agency (unless nash is part of some fire sale), so why not go for a combo guard in the terry mold? if not terry himself, who else fits this mold? kevin martin? stuckey? unfortunately, i don't see those guys being moved either.

    maybe... iverson? try it for a year or two? i'm not a huge fan of his, but perhaps at this stage in his career, he'd be a good third wheel.

    but terry would just be ideal...

    We've discussed Terry before. I think he would work great next to Roy.

    bayless? i think he could easily develop into a terry clone.

    that screams bayless all over all he would really need to work on is his shot which from what ive heard was decent in college ( i dont watch much college ball)

    Interesting. I do think though that if we had Ben Gordon, and Rudy as our Bench scoring.. that Outlaw would be the odd man out and Webster would be back in IMO.
