i know it's probably impossible since i don't see dallas parting with him at all, but i think a jason terry type would be just ideal for this team. can play the 1 and 2, good shooter, decent defender and distributor. he's not an all-star, but he's just so solid. portland isn't going to get an all-star point guard via free agency (unless nash is part of some fire sale), so why not go for a combo guard in the terry mold? if not terry himself, who else fits this mold? kevin martin? stuckey? unfortunately, i don't see those guys being moved either. maybe... iverson? try it for a year or two? i'm not a huge fan of his, but perhaps at this stage in his career, he'd be a good third wheel. but terry would just be ideal...
that screams bayless all over all he would really need to work on is his shot which from what ive heard was decent in college ( i dont watch much college ball)
Interesting. I do think though that if we had Ben Gordon, and Rudy as our Bench scoring.. that Outlaw would be the odd man out and Webster would be back in IMO.
