I believe in a 'god' like figure that rules everything but leaves everything undisturbed, a god we know nothing about. I don't believe in popular religions because they are little ridiculous.
I'm in the same boat as you BCB. I feel that there is a supreme being out there but I don't have a faith in a particular religion for the same reason u mentioned.Oh boy, this thread is gonna explode, religion is always a touchy subject
Because this might sound crazy but Religion was made up by Man and Man is Power Hungry So thats why I am Atheist
I mean my Beliefs shouldn't offend anyone else because they are my beliefs and you can think what you want but its hard to believe that god just placed 1 person on the earth and woman came out of his liver, I mean that sounds like a total hormone speech that Man was the first thing ever created but you need woman to create man
Evolution/Big Bang Theory isnt bad. I did hate learning about them in school though. But it could be true...bcb still looks like a monkey
I'm a Christian, so I believe in the unbelievable. Like how Christ was born from the Virgin Mary, and how Moses parted the Red Sea.Why do I believe in that? I have been a Christion for all of my life. I was baptized at birth, and I have commited to profession of faith recently. But I still respect all of the other religions, I just view them as wrong.
Don't forget Moses lost in the desert for 40 years...people back then didn't live long so they must have started their voyage when they were 12. Don't forget Noah's Ark where all animals were rounded up by pairs (non of them died of corse). I just don't know why people believe their religions without thinking for themselves and taking every word at it's word. Do you believe everything you read? No.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (SunnyD @ Mar 22 2006, 12:29 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>I'm a Christian, so I believe in the unbelievable. Do you know anything about them? They all make as much sense as Christianity.
