More importantly: he only watches Blazers games by his own admission, so his opinions are not at all well informed. Ed O.
BTW: I am SO happy the Drs were wrong, and that Darius is able to play and contribute to an NBA team! He looked so good tonight. Oh....wait.... Here's to you Chris Wallace. Die slowly and rot quickly.
It might not have been an "impressive" win, but it was a "good" win nonetheless. Losing this one could have resulted in an 0-5 trip. Now we can hope for a 2-3 trip.
How so? I don't cloud my opinions with peripheral noise like soccer games, American Idol, or who beat the Spurs last night. Meaningless drivel. I only root for the Blazers so I only need to know how players stack up against the Blazers. Conley could dunk on Kobe 8 times a night but how does that affect the Blazers? Not a bit. Us against the World! Bake it.
maris will be saying a final goodbye to sergio very soon and the most ridiculous phrase.... bake it. gag
that Arthur for Batum trade sure worked out well, didn't it? Come on, own up; I know there were more than a few people pissed off about trading him for Batum (IMO, if Arthur hadn't of been in the green room nobody would have cared...)
Look at it this way: having achieved what they wanted, at least Memphis brass aren't putting Darius's knees at any more risk. We should be happy for his future health.
In a game where the Griz lost both Darko and Arthur to injury, Miles gets a DNP. That shows how truly worthless he is. He is nothing but a pawn in Chris Wallace's transparent effort to hurt the Blazers. I say our next big free agent target should be OJ Mayo. It'll be a couple years, but I think he'd fit in nice next to Roy. And Mayo loves the spotlight. In Portland he'd be playing for championships, not ping pong balls. Which means a MUCH bigger shoe deal and a lot more endorsement potential than he'll ever have playing in Memphis. BNM
