I'm sure the feeling is mutual. More amazing would be to find a former teammate who DID like Kobe. (And really like him, not like Shaquille "I'll say anything that I think will further my current agenda" O'Neal.)

What a crummy interview. I hate it when an interviewer is talking to somebody who clearly has something interesting to say, but isn't asked the followup question that moves it along.
"Was it Kobe's playing style? His leadership style? Do other players on that team feel that way too? You realize a lot of people watching this are going to ask themselves, 'Where does Smush "Idaho Stampede" Parker get off slamming on arguably the greatest player in the NBA?'"

Instead he softballs it. Kind of a waste.

Parker is, like, the opposite of Parker.

Kobe's had his shit together, professionally, from day one.

Parker fucked up coming out of college and look where he is now. He's a very very good player but there's clearly something broken with him upstairs.

When a first-class loser like Parker rips on Kobe, it doesn't really mean much except that he's probably jealous.

Smush who? Who cares? Kobe and his shit together? What a fucking joke. Something happened in CO and it clearly indicates that he does not have his shit together. On the contrary, he is a major shit stirrer at the very least. We all know what he is at the very most.

Kobe may have made some mistakes, but from a business standpoint (basketball incl.). saying Kobe doesnt have his shit together is just ignorant. Don't let your dislike of him affect your responses.

Derek Fisher? Ron Harper? Mark Madsen? Robert Horry? Caron Butler? Brian Shaw?

    Who cares about Colorado, really?

People who think they know what happened and/or people who hate the Lakers.

Anyone who just cares about basketball doesn't give a shit, and anyone who follows the BUSINESS of basketball is, if anything, more impressed at the way Bryant has been able to bounce back from that negative PR.

Compare that to Parker, who attended two colleges in two years, who declared early following his sophomore year only to go undrafted, who played pretty well in several stops in the NBA and yet... doesn't have a roster spot.

I'm glad Smush Parker has his opinions about players and I'm glad that he's willing to be honest, but the the guy has had one of the most remarkably mis-managed NBA careers I can think of, and to use his opinion as any sort of negative against Kobe doesn't strike me as fair or as wise.

    Current teammate. Also Mr. Goody-two-shoes.

    Prove it.

Isn't he a Lakers' assistant coach? Not really smart to diss your star player then, is it?

Prove it? You want me to prove it? Prove that all of Shaq's teammates like him, prove that all of MJ's teammates like him. You can't. Whenever I see Kobe interact with these guys, it's all hugs and good words. What more "proof" do you need? When was the last time one of Shaq's former teammates went out of their way to compliment him. How about MJ?

Yeah, I'm sure he hates Kobe so much that he decided to hop onto the staff to coach him.

Doesn't Smush Parker bashing on Kobe kind of have the opposite effect? Like it somehow validates him in every way possible?

You don't have to be a God to dis an anal rapist.

Pretty much fair game for anybody.

I've never heard anybody who didn't have an agenda compliment Kobe.

    Never.

The rape victim, her family and friends care.

The Prosecutor who had built a solid case he felt would bring justice only to see Kobe's money buy him immunity from the law cares.

Pretty much anyone with any decency in their soul cares.

And absolutely anyone who truly cares about the game of basketball cares.

Those who don't care aren't really worth caring about. :tsktsk:

yeah it was, Kobe also killed an innocent bystander when he was raping her to get rid of the eyewitness account, and when he was done, he trashed the room and strangled the maid that came into the room to clean things up, before pulling out his AK-47 and blasting a random hotel guest's head off.
