I don't really go...a few years I did enjoy going but see it as a huge hustle for the most part... but its actually one of the few places I can get some thinking done....no TV, no internet...sure there's a naked chick there, but sometimes some weak girls go on stage and you can contemplate the intricacies of the world.
The guy who owns Acrop also owns a ranch in southern Oregon so all that beef is fresh and I agree the steak bites are off the hook.
Wanna talk about a trip? Earlier this month I was in there for the first stop of my friends bachelor party. All of a sudden the music is stopped and an unconscious naked stripper gets carried down the stairs and put on a stretcher by the fire department. Meanwhile the back door is open making my steak cold. Girl gets pushed out the door while the DJ says, "How bout a round of applause for the Milwaukee Fire Department," People clap, door shuts and everything goes back to normal. Except my steak didn't taste quite as good anymore...
dunno, just a very strange strip club. went there after I experienced the strip clubs in LA, where the girls are actually hot.
Went to The Drake in Vancouver, BC when I was visiting my cousins about 10 years back. I was the only one wearing Levis there, felt underdressed (no pun intended), and it was a very plush, comfy, loud place. Great pub food and the DJ had ongoing (Canadian) sports quiz games going with great prizes being given out about every 20 minutes. If you try to tip the girls (my cousin stopped me before I did) you will probably be tossed in the alley and beaten as it is considered an insult, kinda like throwing your shoe at the President...they got paid $1,000 or so a night to dance, and that week the mainliner was the Penthouse Pet from the previous month. We also went to No. 5 Orange, which was a very fun atmosphere too. Last time I was up there we went to some dumpy place and I couldn't help but think "they're becoming Americanized".
i need to hit one up soon....i think seeing hot, beautiful women motivates me in some fucked up, superficial way. I was thinking this while at the gym...on Monday I went there were some attractive ladies, worked out pretty hard. Today I went, the girls were kind of weak, didn't have that good of a workout.
