Scientist have uncovered a new marine dinosaur named Predator X that was at least 50 ft long, weighed 45 tonnes, had one foot long teeth, and had a bite with crushing power of 15 tonnes per square inch, which is 10 times more powerful then any current animal and 4 times more powerful then the T-Rex. http://www.canada.com/technology/Predator fossil makes look feeble Scientists/1395499/story.html
Size isn't everything: http://www.newsdaily.com/stories/tre52f6wl-us-dinosaur/ And this is sure to disappoint creationists: http://www.newsdaily.com/stories/tre51p824-us-footprint-ancient/
So, you're one of those fundamentalist Christians who believe dinosaur bones were put here on earth by god to test our faith in him?
Somehow this should be a Monty Python song. Teeeeeeeee Rex was a pussy, T-Rex was a pussy, a dinosaur pussy he was... Couldn't go in the water, Predator X was tougher than Rex by far T-Rex was a pussy, a mighty big pussy, T-Rex was a pussy he was, Couldn't go in the water, had tiny arms, was killed off by a falling star. barfo
From whence springs your skepticism? Sizes of animals on Earth have varied with factors like oxygen content in the air, temperatures and things like that. I mean, we have sperm whales and blue whales that are pretty massive.
yeah, i just can't imagine the dinosaurs actually being alive and in person. or a shark that big. maybe i'll need to see a blue whale or something in person or watch more animal planet....just seems so out of the ordinary
holy shit could you imagine driving a boat and seeing the Megalodon fin swimming towards you? even worse would be to be swallowed whole by the fucking giant Predator X
Swallowed whole would be better than the alternative. I guess you could try to get stuck between the teeth. Probably it didn't floss often. barfo
Yeah but could they crush a hummer with one bite? Yeah, didn't think so. Predator X is still cooler baby!
I know snakes and other cold blood animals size depends on the temperature. Scientists know at one point the earth was at least 10 degrees warmer then it is now because there are fossils of a massive snake that lived in Columbia which was 40-45 feet long and weighed 2500 pounds. There is a picture somewhere which compares a anaconda bone to a fossil of the massive snake. Edit: I found an article http://news.aol.com/article/fossil-of-massive-ancient-snake-found/329070
For a rapist. I've also read that the Tyrannosaurus wasn't a predator but a scavenger who would wait for another dinosaur to make a kill, then chase it off, but that is up for debate.
