They're so sweet, so cute, so cuddly, so.... destructive.

My other cat broke my laptop screen last night. Yep, you read that right, he broke my laptop screen.

Last night I was sitting on the coach and I put my laptop on the coffee table so I could go to the kitchen, while I was in there he jumped on the coffee table and knocked my computer off, and the back of the screen hit the ground. I'm not sure but I think he cracked it which means I am going to have to replace it. I found a a new screen for my laptop for $70 bucks, so if I replace it myself it shouldn't cost to much.

Still, he broke my laptop screen!

I couldn't get to mad at him though, he spent the whole night trying to suck up by cuddling up next to me and purring his little heart out.

Isn't it amazing how pets know that stuff? Also, how is it they know when you're about to take them to the vet? I never could quite figure that one out.

Anyway, sorry about your loss. At least a laptop screen is replaceable, though, right? :)

Don't leave breakable object where a cat can get to them...which is basically anywhere.

Yeah, when I was little I let Loafy (my second cat) outside and he got into a fight with another cat. Being a little kid I didn't understand the consequences of trying to break up a cat fight and Loafy bit me. Right after he came inside and stayed by my side all night because he felt bad.

Yeah, it's a an inconvence but I love my kitty more them my laptop. Besides, it's really not a big deal, if I need anything from my laptop until I get it fixed I can hook it up to my computer monitor.

Tell me about it, it's like cats are attracted to anything they can break.

Cats don't "poop all over the place" if you clean the box once in a while.

Yeah, I'm also not home alot so the cat would probably die. I like playing with other people's pets...but can't ever imagine owning one. I think its the whole thing about getting too attached and having it die. Sucked when goldfish died even...kind of depressing.

Cats aren't like dogs, you don't have to be around all the time. In fact, you can leave a cat alone for several days (although you should probably have someone check in) and as long as it has enough food and water it will be fine.
