If you told me after 67 games we would have only 3 more losses then the Spurs I would have said you were crazy! I am so happy in the direction this team is headed.
I'm not sure if this says more about us or San Antonio ... but yes, overall it is a nice development -- especially if this means the Spurs are on a longterm downward trajectory and we continue apace on an upward one.
Yeah it's so depressing hearing how well our team is doing. It's amazing how well the Blazers are doing compared to the rest of the league. We've got one of the best home records and we're improving on the road compared to last season. This team is baking!
my opinion has nothing to do with MB. funny how as a die hard Blazer fan you think that me talking about how successful of a season we are having is crap.
just for reference, the Spurs won 56 games last year and are on pace to win 55 this year despite missing Manu for much of the season. STOMP
San Antonio seems in danger of losing the division title to Houston, who's been rocking since TMac went down. Not that it would matter much in post-season, probably, considering the Spurs level of playoff experience. But again, shows just how close the west is. And how insane will it be next year? Phoenix may or may not make a come-back, but Portland should be better, SA is returning to the pack, and teams like Minnesota and Memphis may be improved enough to make noise. Even Oklahoma City is showing life. It kills me to watch NBA TV and see teams in the East 10 games under .500 listed as playoff contenders.
