It is an 82 game season. Every team has up and down games. Every team goes on losing streaks, or games were they lose 2 out of 9 or something like that. The Lakers' have still not lost more than two in a row.

    It was a bad game.

kobe23, stop crying. We'll be fine. You can hide behind me if you want, if your scared. Your not a front line type of guy. You seem to get intimidated by the Cavs. Don't be. We'll be fine against them. We'll be fine against Boston. We'll be fine against anybody. We're the mother fucking Purple and Gold! We aren't going anywhere.

That fucking championship is ours this fucking year, mother fuckers!

Hey, we're a beastly team on the road. We've beaten the Magic, Cavs, Celtics, Hornets, Nuggets, Rockets, Suns, Jazz, etc. at home.

Let's see if our great home play holds up against the Lakers.

    LOL special mention huh?

i think i just had 3 or 4 posts out of an 8 page thread venting out my frustration... and now im scared?

i just think some people are missing out on some details... like:

the cavs are slowly preparing for us (im sure)
LBJ's shot (although forever ugly) is getting more consistent especially from 3 and from the stripe (better than Kobe's from 3 IMO)
they now have a better record than us - thats gotta mean something (someone looking for convincing road wins? try the one they had tonight)
they won't need to worry about road games in the playoffs if they get that HCA, they could just choose to take care of home court (30-1) and theyre all set at winning the title.

    im just being realistic...

You've still got it backwards, they're extremely dominant on their homecourt yet we're the only team that slayed them, and without Drew. We match up well with them, they should be scared of us not vice-versa. The Celtics play us better.

kobe23, your scared. I understand. Don't be. Trust me. We got the Cavs dude. The don't got shit on us.

And calling LeBron's three better than Kobe's is a joke. You are really a Cavs' fan, aren't you?

Can we change your username to LeBrick23

^ haha... you've got me wrong... if you really knew me i'd say anything to defend the lakers and Kobe (i have a lot of friends who are cavs and lebron fans)... (btw, pls dont judge a person based on a text based forum like this, come on)

its not fear... its more of just being sure... i for one am guilty of being complacent last year when we got to the finals.

maybe its bec. Drew hasn't returned...

regarding the 3... have you noticed that this season lebron has slowly been increasing his production from deep? yea sure no one beats kobe's 3 when he's on fire... but lbj knocs them down on a more consistent basis with that ugly ass jumper (only for the last couple of games), but you shouldn't forget, no matter how as long as its in then its good.

anyway... for me... ill relax when we win the title. period. (thats what EVERYONE should feel coz' anything can happen, but i guess not)

Kobe's three pointer was cold at the start of the year, then he picked it up as well. I think we need to hold off on some of your assessments until there is a larger sample size.

You still worry a lot, you even thought Mihm would be a better center than Pau. No need to blow one game out of proportion, just enjoy the run man.

^correction... i thought Mihm would be a good option for some mins. for the 5 spot. Yea Maybe he could start if he deserved it, but Mihm would serve as a long body to replace Pau who can actually score (12 ppg in 05-06). problem is i thought all he didnt have was playing time, i didn't know that his ankle was a lost cause since he always suited up for games. i just think Pau would be more comfortable at the 4 spot (where he defends slightly smaller players) while playing alongside another big body (dacos, mihm, whoever), similar to Amare's case (but Pau would be the #1 post option unlike the suns shaq and amare)

wait, what does worrying a lot have to do with mihm as a choice for C? haha

i WAS going to enjoy the season... problem is we all expected we would be at the top, not the 2nd. haha

That's determined in the playoffs buddy, so your worry is still unfounded. :)

Pau has been a monster at center. Drew is a better option than Pau, but not just any guy. Obviously this didn't affect us in Cleveland either, we're dangerous on the road or not against them. HCA applies more to others matchups imo.

my main worry is that amidst all the hype everyone i giving us, we might get surprised (again) by the cavs, a team considered as the underdog in the finals if we matchup against them. its as simple as that.

in fact my main worry is that we don't win the title. thats it haha

Wow man, how the heck are we going to disrespect the Cavs, who are probably not even the clear underdogs in the minds of the media?

    It doesn't make sense.
