What a negotiating loss. I would have negotiated the Casino into paying for me to get one of those lifetime cards for free meals at a place like Old Country Buffet, or something of that nature.
Why should he even consider anything less than 42.9 million? He won it, he is entitled to it. But, I understand your point.
All casinos are a joke, just google "casino refusing to pay" and you'll get 100,000+ hits about casinos which have refused to pay a winner and their excuse is always the same, there was either a "malfunction" or a "glitch" with the slot machine.
i doubt they have a case in court. if you read the article, it says the actual max jackpot on that machine was $9,025.
