Which obviously are 2 totally un-connected events judging by what have been Bayless's 2 worst games so far for the team.
This game is not in the bag by any stretch. Indiana, as bad as they've been offensively, has been really good on the defensive end, the Blazers have just been hitting their jump shots. The Blazers need to step the hell up.
The tantrum over Rodriguez's demotion is mildly amusing. Every game for Bayless in which he isn't nailed to the bench is his "worst ever" according to you, especially these most recent two.
I do not see it as a demotion for Sergio. It's a promotion - he is now a translator - which really suits his talents Sorry Maris.
And pretty decent defense. We do not have a problem scoring - it is with the opposing PG abusing us that we have issues.
Oden actually looks real good on defense today. In a small sample size one of his best games just as far as shuffling his feet and contesting shots but not trying to block (foul) every one.
