Indiana was chipping away at our lead but we pulled away with it when Oden came in (he was +21). I had forgotten the effect he could have on the team despite 1. rarely touching the ball and 2. not scoring.

We'll see... but I don't think not putting any weight on it really indicates severity of an ankle sprain. I'm sure I'm not the only veteran of multiple ankle sprains here that can weigh in with personal experience. Often they'll be screamingly painful and limiting movement to near nothing for 5 minutes and then loosen up to a much more tolerable/normal level. I'm sure the Blazer staff has him on ice right now to limit swelling and they'll have a much better prognosis tomorrow.

why the fuck, in every god damned game thread, we have to argue about Sergio vs Bayless.

let it the fuck go, and root for the blazers as a team.

I still stand by my original prediction.. This road trip will be 4-1 and the loss wont be at Cleveland. If I am wrong you can choose my avatar pic for a week!

Over that same time span Sergio has MAYBE one decent game, so it's a wash.

Then you factor in that Sergio gives you absolutely nothing defensively, while Bayless does, and Bayless gets the minutes for now.

Great win. I never expected us to beat Indiana at their place, especially with this whupping. Good job Blazers! Print those tickets!

Because it is good for the karma of the Blazers.

Last year, no bayless vs. Sergio arguments - the Blazers do not have a winning record.
A year before, same no arguments - the Blazers have a losing record.
A year before that - same, same.
This year - already clinched a winning record.

Blazers fans, by law, should have this argument even next year when we trade Sergio to Barcelona for cash and future considerations! :devilwink:

I'm rooting for you to be right! Cavs are 30-1 at home, so they must be due for a loss especially after the tough game against Orlando. It is a tough venue... mean fans and ushers!! j/k... As long as we don't lose BOTH Batum and LMA we can win that game. It will be very tough if both are out, but LaMarcus looked okay talking to McBob at the end of the game... any updates on status from Blazer radio/tv?

Another dominant road win in a game we really needed to win! Now I certainly hope we can pull one out tomorrow, but even just a win in Milwaukee would make this a good trip. A win tomorrow would make it fantastic!

If you are wrong (and I hope you are not) and if I am the one to choose the avatar (and I do not think I am) - I would choose Californication by the Red hot chili peppers - but that's just me :devilwink:

No doubt. I'd also like to point out that Steve Blake outplayed both TJ Ford and Jarrett Jack tonight.

Yeah, I too thought Blake played well. I'm always scared when he drives and throws up shots, but tonight....wow he made like almost all of them. Well done Blake!

Yeah, I have to agree with this. It's getting absurd.

All that means is you don't know what "defense" entails at this level, or any level of basketball.

    You can't "factor in" fiction.

Basyless was RARELY within 10 feet of any PG tonight on defense, and I have dared posters for over a month now to present some sort of evidence or indication, however vague, that he can even play mediocre defense.

    No takers.

    Offer's still open.

Why would anyone with sense argue with you? It's like arguing with a brick wall.

Sure, no problem. Look at 82games.com and look at win percentage and net point difference when each one of them plays PG.

For Sergio it is 40% wins, +0.8pts diff per-48
For Bayless it is 44% wins, +5pts diff per-48

    Next question?
