Well, i can almost safely say that our season is dead. We still technically have a shot at the playoffs, but i really see no hope. We should rest our banged up players and start giving Gerald some serious minutes. It will be for the best..
Agreed....I know it's good to get the young guys playoff experience, even if it is at a #8 seed with an almost certain smokeshow in the first round by the Pistons...but I could really care less if the C's make the playoffs this year, there really young and inexperienced so I wasn't expecting much out of them in the first place. I just have fun watching the young guys get better and better
Yeah I agree, no point in getting swept. Time for Danny to pick some new rookies and screw everything up again
Well they made a nice push at the end. They have shown the ability to get some big wins. I think they are starting to gel, but like you guys indicated it's a little late. I think it's a good way to end the season. They can pick up another lottery pick and maybe make a move or two in the offseason.
Danny will just add more rookies that we have to wait around for development from though, and we'll be right back where we started. We need to trade our picks and stick with what we have.
How will trading their picks allow them to stick with what they have? If they trade their picks that will get something in return, so who do you suppose they trade their picks for? Esp their lottery pick?
Just a solid veteran, we already have a very young team and we don't need more inexperienced players.
I have a feeling DA might go after an all-star claiber PG, or just shy of it, as he has gone after mediocre pg's in the past and it hasn't worked out. Here's some players that could be on his list:Baron Davis (doubt it tho)Mike BibbyJason TerryAndre MillerDamon StoudamireLuke Ridnour (he's not happy in Seattle)Brevin KnightWe need a playmaker/distributor to run the offense. Right now, it seems the best/most available option is Brevin Knight. We can give them the Cavs pick next year with a young player, and they might bite. His contract expires after next year i think, so DA might play the waiting game and try to sign him as a FA.
That could work, PG has been an issue for us since Kenny left. Don't you think he'll wait and develop Delonte though?
well, like you said, we need a vet, and someone needs to show Delonte the ropes. I don't want to say it would be a quick fix, but in a way it is. It would also relieve Delonte of some responsibilty in handling the ball. Delonte could them play some 2-guard, and when Wally breaks down, he could take his spot in the line-up.

Perfect example: who here knew Danny had ANY interest at all in Wally? Not me.King Jamez, as for Delonte, i think they will split the time (ridnour gets more) and Delonte can play the 2-guard more. Then when Wally leaves, everything is set in place. (I don't really expect Wally to re-sign. He might still stay on board, but he won't be nearly as important to this team in a few years. His knees are just in tto bad of shape.)
