Rank these centers based on who you think will be the best player in the future. Al Horford Andrew Bogut Andrew Bynum Andris Biedrins Brook Lopez Chris Kaman Emeka Okafor Greg Oden Kendrick Perkins Marc Gasol

Ok. Oden has shown he can be dominant physically coming off of microfracture surgery and missing a whole year. He isn't going to be Shaq, but how many people in history could have been? If he can even stay healthy for just 4 or 5 years, in that time the blazers could win 60 games a year if they keep the team together. I can see Bynum or Lopez, who knows but.............. Andris Biedrins? HA HA.

Biedrins is 23 or 22 years young and has a lot of ceiling. All I have seen from Oden is that he can foul and get injured better then a lot of centers in the league.
Oden is not even top 15 I would think. He has shown absolutely nothing....well except how to stay injured for two seasons now.
First of all, he's white. Then, he isn't the #1 overall pick, he also doesn't play in LA, so ESPN doesn't care about him. Thus, according to some people, he is a scrub who will amount to nothing in this league.

Some people are underrating Marc Gasol here. I'm know that probably 90% of y'all have never seen a live Grizzlies game this year and make all of your assumptions off Sports Center highlights. He is averaging 11 and 8 as a rookie in a new league with a completely different philosophy from Europe. Marc Gasol obviously has half the talent Pau has, I know that. Marc is not a flashy player with quick feet and skilled foot work, I know that. But Marc plays with more heart then a lot of the players I have seen and his big body will soon make him a force in the NBA. Not a 20 and 12 guy, but I definably see him becoming around a 17 and 10 guy. Marc has a pretty good mid range jumper even with his sub par free throw percentages.
I wish we still had Marc (I know it would be redundant with Drew, just saying...), I've seen some of his games and you're right about his energy. He seems like the durable type as well, at least in his rookie year.
horford is really a pf, so i've removed him from the list. Right Now(ranking them as players, not who has had the best season thus far. basing it on who is currently having the best season, guys like bogut, bynum, and oden would drop some due to the time they have missed) 1. Bogut 2. Okafor 3. Bynum 4. Oden 5. Biendris 6. Lopez 7. Gasol 8. Perkins 9. Kaman Future 1. Oden 2. Bynum 3. Bogut 4. Okafor 5. Lopez 6. Biendris 7. Gasol 8. Perkins 9. Kaman
You cannot rank Oden over Perkins at this point in their careers. You're doing just by name, because Oden was picked first, playing wise Perkins has been better, plus you can rely on him game in and game out. (for his position) While all you can rely on Oden is to warm up your bench.
