Okay, I'll give AllyOop this one. Maggette was AWFUL.

He should have had at least one more turnover than he got credit for too, on one play he dribbled it off his leg and got lucky a Laker touched it before it went out of bounds.

Now here's a still of another play. 3-on-1 break. Of the three players, who has the worst lane to the basket? Maybe Maggette, with a defender right in his face and Azubuike and Ellis wide open? Guess who took the shot? Yep, Maggette, and he missed it. Fortunately Azubuike was there to clean it up.

On another play Maggette took a 3-pointer with lots of time remaining on the shot clocr, which IMO is just always a bad play because he shoots 25% from there. Even when he makes them it's a bad idea because you can always get a higher-percentage shot elsewhere.

On the plus side, Jermario Davidson looked pretty good! :hoops:

Nice work with the still! I wish I knew how to do that (I have a Comcast dvr box, I guess there must be a usb/firewire port on it somewhere).

If I figured out how to upload TV to my computer, I'd be including stills with all of my arguments!

As far as Maggette, well, it looks like he has been reading the criticism on his game in the media, because tonight it looked like he really made an effort to pass. The problem was, he's never done that before, so it turned into Adonal Foyle baseball passes into the stands. I almost caught one of those from my living room couch.

As far as the still, yeah, that was a bad fast break, I remember it clearly, but it wasn't the only one, for a team that calls themselves "run-n-gun," lol, they sure conduct a piss-poor fast break. Whether it's CJ Watson going 1-on-5, Jax trying a behind the back pass to Phil Jackson, Maggette running everyone over including his own teammates, or Jamal Crawford doing the and-1 mix tape fade away jumper even though he has a clear path to the hoop.... The Warriors are god-awful at the FB.

The only good fast break situation for this team is Monta Ellis all by himself. The one man fast break. He's cash money. He's flash gordon. Everyone else.... not so much.

But hell yeah, Jamero Davidson really does look pretty good. He still doesn't look NBA ready in terms of physique. He's soft and lanky and off-balance. But the dude is tall and can sink the jumper. If he adds some muscle and gains some explosion, he'll be the perfect back-up center to Biedrins.

Man this team is turnover happy. We need a solid PG asap. Seriously. I totally miss Baron now, even though he was turnover happy too. He's a stud and a PG and he always creates something when he has the ball. We need a PG. We need Baron back.

I can just imagine Baron tossing alley-oops to Randolph

    Baron
    Monta
    Randolph
    Wright
    Biedrins

    FTW!!!!!!!!!

LOL. Only saw bits and pieces of the game but his stats do look pretty bad. He got 7 assists though! He is trying to pass more, only its at the expense of his already bad turnover rate and scoring.

I did see Jermario playing well. Still not a huge fan because it just seems like he doesn't like contact very much and hes not even much of a presence defensively despite his athleticism and length.

Monta with another encouraging game too, hes been really good since coming back from the second lay off.

Maggette's intentions are good. He just had one of those games that were ugly in a bad way. But hey, they were playing the Lakers and the only one who looked good was Monta. Oh, and Davidson, but I can't get too excited about him because I don't think he will be back next year.

Lakers were supremely dominant in the 3rd quarter and when they needed to in the 4th. I think they had a little scare towards the end.
