First of all, I don't belive this has happened but I'm just posting it as a theory.If meteors with the mass to destroy all life on Earth really impact our planet with the frequency that has been suggested, then it's possible that there has already been a civilization on Earth before us that may heve been way ahead of us technologically; but they were completely wiped out by the impact. Perhaps a race alien to us lived on our planet before we did. Then again, if they were ahead of us technologically then they probably would have devised a method to destroy the meteor. This also brings up another thought, perhaps they left Earth and let the meteor hit and destroy all that was left. Maybe they were ahead of us as a culture, but in different ways. I don't see how it isn't possible that they could manipulate gravity (just an example) at their will but maybe they never even discovered electricity. There's many paths that a culture could take and maybe their's was completely different from ours. I won't go off topic with that though.This is completely possible and I was just thinking about it, let me know your thoughts.
Its a very good theory, if God does not exist. But its my religion to believe that...It sounds very well thought-out..
Yeah I just kind of rambled on. Maybe on other planets it's possible, because they're not mentioned in the Bible.
