    Typical game report, we kicked their collective posteriors, etc., etc,. etc.

    From Brew Hoop Blog

    That said, I found this little tidbit at the end to be somewhat worthy of note....

    Nice find ABM. After one of the most solid, all-around performances for Trav, that blog is a nice reality check for the anti-Travis camp. We have some very low cost, high return players! If Travis could bring that type of performance consistently, then the small forward spot will be even more difficult to resolve. Key word-- if. Who wouldn't love to see that level of production from the starting sf all the time?!

    I prefer what we get from Nicolas as opposed to what Travis gave us last night, all offense and no D to speak of won't get us very far come playoff time.

    Richard never impressed me much when we played the Bucks. I think we did well to keep that cap space to bring in another PG in the offseason like Bibby or Sessions.

    No D? Lets not confuse giving a wide open 24 footer to someone because he un- wisely helped double team another player. In many situations Travis is a decent defender. Far from "No D to speak of". He is often put in a tough situation. He has to guard the perimeter, help out with "Star Players" and rebound. No doubt he gets burned. Some of it is hus fault and some of it is the defensive strategy. (Which by the way is similar to what Sloan does in Utah. defend the basket first) No doubt Batum is better on D, but Travis makes plays too.

    He was also repeatedly abused by Jefferson going to the basket, and he got backed down and scored over in the post by Charlie V as well. His man defense on the perimeter is what it is, bad, and his help defense just keeps getting worse.

    Repeatedly? Is that possible when you go 5-14 in 38 minutes?

    Aside from having trouble keeping Sergio Rodriguez in front of him, Sessions' night ended early in the fourth when he had another pass picked off followed by a charge on the very next possession.

    Sessions = Jarrett Jack

    Hello darkness, my old friend
    I was pretty adamantly against a trade for Jefferson, so his performance against the Blazers (a team without the greatest wing defense, considering Batum didn't play) is hardly surprising to me. Jefferson is not the player he was a few years ago.

    Hardly. Jack is very definitely a combo guard, Sessions is a pass first point guard.

    Ramon played about as badly as I've ever seen him, I'm not so sure I'd use last night's performance as any kind of benchmark.

    Jefferson is a nice supporting player who is being paid like an all-star. If he were on a Webster/Outlaw sized contract, he would be worth having. As is, he is a problem.

    Whats swap mean? I wanted Butler and Wallace!

    2 Things I will admit are that I was willing to trade Batum for Wallace. And I would have taken RJ if we got Sessions along with him (like i said).

    :lol: any PG that might come in and take away Sergio's 10mpg is the devil!
