OK, first of, sometimes good things can come from unfortunate circumstances. This just might end up being the case here. In light of Tone's Facebook Fiasco, we exchanged some e-mails and, as it turns out, he is very curious as to how you guys might feel about, or respond to, a potential pictures or such site/blog of his? You know, kind of a Blazers' Charles Kuralt, as it were. Anyhoo, with his blessing (naturally ), I suggested and offered that I would be more than happy to post a poll here with the following questions: 1) Would you visit a site that contained pictures and such of Blazer-related activities that Antonio has posted? and.... 2) If so, what kinds of places, events, people, or ___?, etc. would you like to see him post on the site? Personally, I told him I thought it was a great idea. I went on to tell him that, for the most part, us Blazer fans crave any and all things Blazers. What say you?
I'd probably visit. It'd be cool to see the guys at non official events just hanging out in the hotels and stuff. Just my opinion.
I'd check it out. It would be cool if it was like Barrett's blog, but maybe give us more of a behind the scenes look at life on the road with the team etc. etc.
I want to see a shot of Mike Rice emptying water bottles and re-filling them with vodka, lol... Just kidding, Mike, just kidding...
I'm down with that. Tone's a character, which are always fun to read, and seems to know a lot about The League Life, which would be a fun focus.
Yes, I would be much in favor of what life is like on the road with the Blazers. Photos of the team plane, their hotel, inside the different arenas' locker rooms, where they go out and venture to on off-days or their off-time. MB's blog is best when he's describing what they're doing on the road, such as their cab stories and such. And Quick is already doing those behind the locker room pieces, so it'd be cool to have more all-access behind the team. Tone could be a trend setter!
First question, what's the deal with Comcast and satellite companies?!? When the hell is a deal going to be made? Ok, I know he probably doesn't have much to do with that.
If only we'd convinced Comcast's CEO to release Tone's facebook link on the forum! Antonio would have given him what-for!
Definitely. Any perspective to the players/team off the court is very cool. Stories from his past as a Blazer (like the one about Stacey Augmon and his crew that MB and Harvey were narrating on radio a couple months ago) would also be sweet.
I believe many Blazer fans would be interested. As Antonio is effectively an insider, it would provide yet another peek into what transpires behind the Blazer scenes. Personally, I hope he does it.
Heh, no wonder you feel that way. Antonio just told me it would be his mission to snap incriminating photos of you in action.
