He's a very good PG who can score at will (he had 60 points in one game this season), extremely quick (he looked to be quicker the Collins in the game against KU), has a great first step. However, this year draft is deep, Woodside is a little small for a PG, and he plays for a small school from the Summit league which puts him at a disadvantage against PGs who play for bigger schools. So, where will Ben Woodside go in the draft, and will he even be drafted?
He'll be a late second. Some team is bound to take a chance in him, but I see him playing in Europe in the future.
Woodside is going nowhere, there are PG's like him every year that come from mid-majors and over 4/5 of them don't even get camp invites. Look at guys like A.J. Graves, Dashaun Woods (Wright State), Mike Green, Jason Richards, or even Jared Jordan...they went nowhere. Woodside is just a great college guard like many other players, just doesn't have the game to make it in the NBA.
