An older, slower, shorter, less athletic Kurt Rambis... damn, I must really suck.

Actually, I think my offensive game is still better, at my advanced age, than Rambis' ever was. I still go off for 40-something once or twice a year. I've spent the last 40 years almost always being the tallest guy on a short team. So, I've learned how to play effectively in the paint against guys much taller than me.

20 years ago, I was pretty athletic for my size, but now I can't jump over the Beaveton phone book without tripping. So, I get by on hustle, positioning, well exectuted fundamental low post moves and a decent mid-range shooting touch.

Pros = My game is superior 3pt shooting, exceptional court-vision, a variety of dazzlingly accurate passes, and the ability to consistently drain hook shots from anywhere up to 50 feet away.

Cons = Can't dribble worth a lick, have poor lateral movement, and am too light to bang inside. :sigh:

I'm much better at baseball. :drumroll:

My handles aren't very good. Although I'm a good passer, good defender, and can rebound well. I play pretty good perimeter D and interior D. I try to model my game after Dennis Rodman though and I box out damn well. I'm definitely a hustle player who plays defense much better than offense. I'm only useful on offense in getting boards, passing, setting picks, and hitting a midrange J.

You play much down at Dixon? I used to play a lot late at night from around 9-12. Could have balled together before, who knows.

Played at Dixon quite a few times. Also did a couple years of intramural bball too. It's possible we have played together before.

Adonal Foyle, if he we're 6'2".

At my gym in Denver, I've become friendly with Adrian Dantley because we're both Redskins fans. We were chatting on the elliptical trainers one day and we started talking hoops (the machines overlook the basketball court). I asked him how at his height (he's really only about 6'3 1/2") he could play in the frontcourt. He offers to show me.

He is 20 years past his prime, but oh man was that a humbling experience.
