Re: Wow!!! First Carter didn't visit his grandma, now Bosh is getting sued by his ex. Wow, Feschuk gets the scoop on all the smear stories In order to extract the maximum amount of money possible from Bosh, she would make the situation seem as terrible as possible, no?
Re: Wow!!! well carter didnt visit his dad's parents because his parents had a nasty breakup or something and his mom got in the way. it really wasnt vince's fault from what i remember plus its common family type problem that many families have. but this is a total departure from bosh's pristine image. leaving your girl when she's 7 months pregnant and not even paying child support is terrible
Re: Wow!!! Well that is 1/2 of the story. I'm sure this isn't the last we've heard of this. Also, I'm criticizing Feschuk for lines like this he shoehorns into his piece: "The case, perhaps, is the missing piece in explaining a sometimes puzzling decline in the on-court performance of Bosh and the Raptors." Bosh's #'s are almost identical to last year with fewer turnovers and more rebounds. The piece he wrote on Carter was 100% a hit piece. Nothing more or less. This story on Bosh might not be in the same vein but going to print before Bosh has had a chance to defend himself sounds like they are just trying to drum up controversy.
Re: Wow!!! YESSSSSSSSSSSSS HIS DONE!!! his nba career is OVER! his a goner finalllllllllllllyyyyyyyyyyyyy been waiting a looooooong time for him to go awayyyyyyyyy
Re: Wow!!! feschuk is a good diversion from doug smith who also writes for the star and has his face firmly planted behind the teams stars arse (carters, bosh)

Re: Wow!!! "I'm on top of the world right now," went Bosh's tweet. "I've seen the new light!" ^Sounds a lot like Stephon Marbury.
Re: Wow!!! Because Steph was brought up, I feel the need to post this:
Re: Wow!!! You'd like to see some discretion and patience when it comes to issues like this, simply because the truth usually arises from combining the various stories and slowly eliminating the bias/lies. Of course, Feschuck proceeded to stuff every sort of random speculation and presumptious conclusion he could think of at the end of his article. Place this on the ever-growing mountain of evidence that shows us how shitty a columnist Feschuck truly is. I have no doubt that, if he were writing in North Carolina, he'd be among the first and most vocal critics of those Duke lacrosse players. That said, I don't want to seem like I'm giving Bosh the benefit of the doubt. I really don't have any opinion on this yet. But there's no denying that the sequence of events (that we currently know) is inexplicable and difficult to explain. Bosh was with this girl for a while and seemed to have a solid enough relationship for it to be publicly known. He then committed himself to having a baby with this woman, going so far as to buy fertility drugs for her. They conceived and then, 7 months in, the dude supposedly has a completely random change of heart and pretends like she never existed. Then you have to factor in the cryptic Twitter that some say is about his daughter and the very forthright confession that he does have a daughter. It really doesn't seem to add up, and you could think of a crapload of scenarios that explain it: - There are (intentional or unintentional) loopholes in the woman's lawsuit that would explain Bosh's apparent schizophrenia - Bosh really is schizophrenic - Bosh is a closet homosexual. His relationship with this woman was an elaborate ruse to bolster his marketing image, and now she's extorting him for child support money (for an unrelated pregnancy) by threatening to "out" him. - Bosh ran into Travis Henry/Shawn Kemp 7 months into the pregnancy and decided to become his apprentice - Bosh has an unknown evil twin named Kris Bosh who is out to destroy him
Re: Wow!!! (Bosh vs. paternity suit) btw, I altered the thread title a bit for members outside this forum that might not know about the issue. Hope you don't mind deception.
Re: Wow!!! we have to remember that feschuk had the ballz to write about this and go to practice the next morning. his editorializing could be curbed a little bit but he's feschuk and has a reputation to uphold. and as it relates to the facts of the case- they are incredibly damming. leaving a girl who u impregnated when she was 7 months pregnant is indefensible; subsequently seeing your daughter a grand total of two times is irresponsible and not paying for your daughter is callous
Re: Wow!!! It's almost like he believes that, since he's an opinion columnist, he's obligated to find an extremely reactionary viewpoint to tack onto every article. I definitely agree with your second point though. I only withhold judgment because those are only accusations so far (at least for us), and we've yet to know what is actually a fact until the case goes through the legal system. I will admit that, having admitted that he's known about his daughter all the while, there doesn't seem to be much "wiggle room" for Bosh to not end up looking like a gigantic fuckhead.
The story was on the AP and the lawsuit is months old, so Feschuk didn't bring it to the fray. But he did add in his $0.02 to the piece to dick it up. Not like when he found out Carter's grandma wasn't at his wedding and Feschuk flew down to interview her.
if AP broke it, where is the link? i highly doubt that because im sure it would have created a maelstrom like the feschuk article. and i think u guys are missing the point- if someone killed someone, we dont blame the prosecutor for the tactics he or she employs to win their case, similarly what should trouble u is bosh's behaviour not feschuk's commentary
