It's been mentioned by a few people already, but I love Training day as well.

I thought Denzel earned an Oscar for Malcolm X too.

Training Day = Overrated. Great movie, but overrated. Denzel's performance in Man on Fire is much better, imo.

And fuck Malcolm X. Domestic terrorist.

My favorite movie? Easily Revenge of the Sith. Definitely one of the best movies ever made. You had to think it would be pretty good, just based on the story that had to be in it. But the first two of the new trilogy weren't great films. (They're not bad by any means like some people make it out to be, just not great like the Original Trilogy). But George Lucas really came out with Revenge of the Sith and wiped the floor with the original trilogy. Great acting performances by Obi Wan, Anakin, Padme, the emperor too, who was creepy as hell. And Mace Windu died for the cherry on top! Hated that guy.

And the original Obi Wan vs. Darth Vader battle is one of the greatest action scenes in movie history. You knew that it was probably coming at the end (otherwise it would have had to be Yoda...which wouldn't have had the master / former student angle, so it wouldn't have been as good). It lived up to what you would expect.

Other favorities. Hoop Dreams, He Got Game, the new King Kong, Forrest Gump, Star Wars, Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi, some of Adam Sandler's earlier work (he's not funny anymore) such as Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore, and 8 Crazy Nights.

Revenge of the Sith? I was a hardcore Starwars Geek growing up and I still think EMPIRE STRIKES BACK OWNS THEM ALL!!!!

I liked Revenge of the Sith. I think Star Wars is great but watching the older movies gets quite more difficult with time, it just doesn't age well to me.

Return of the Jedi and even Empire Strikes back is pretty good technologically. New Hope is pretty ugly though visually.

    Still great movies overall.

I never got into Star Wars. I've hated them my whole life. I don't know why. I don't really like the sci-fi genre.

SciFi does indeed suck, but Star Wars isn't like other SciFi.

I always considered Star Trek the "gayer" of the two.

What did he do exactly that's so terrible? Just wondering, I don't really care either way.

It was a great cinematic performance in spite of any other issues, imo.

Leader of the Nation of Islam. Preached violence.

I mean, I totally agree with his cause. Just not his means.
