I think that some schools enforce uniforms because of security reasons so they know if somebody belongs in the school or not. Like right now, at my school, we don't have uniforms, but they're enforcing an ID policy. We have to wear our IDs or we get Saturday school detentions. They told us that they're doing this because of security reasons and I understand where they're coming from. But I don't think students should be required to wear uniforms in public schools. Private schools, yes because they pay for it, but public schools no, because people want to be unique and show their individuality and as long as you follow the dress code, you should be good to go.

If someone really wanted to get into the school they could easily find a way, sounds like a waste of money to me.
People pay like 2,500 a CHILD to go to private schools. And your saying that's why they should wear uniforms?
