MMA gambling

    So, I was looking at the fighting-mma site and it showed a series of odds and lines and such and I was wondering if someone can clear up a question I had.

    If the odds/line was something like Chuck Liddell -340 and "Shogun" Rua +200 that would mean Chuck Liddell is the favourite right? and that betting 340 dollars on chuck liddell will net you 100 dollars profit? and on the other hand, betting 100 on Shogun would net you 200 dollars profit?
    BTW I made those odds up, just incase anybody was thinking "wow that seems like a good value bet"

    So if you bet 340 on Chuck, you get 100 back? or would you get 440? (the 340 bet, and 100 bucks)

    you dont lose money when you win... :crazy:

    You would get your initial bet back PLUS 100....so 440
