As of yesterday evening/this morning he was officially "questionable" after some swelling in his ankle. Anyone hear if he has been upgraded/downgraded today?

honestly it might be better to get outlaw 35 min +.... we will need his scoring to have a chance. 5 points out of batum is worthless

Exactamundo. Steve Nash has shown a propensity to have problems when guarded by a SF type player. To hell with guarding Matt Barnes. Shut down the guy that drives the bus.

There's more to the game than shooting, there's fundamentals and defense.

Wheels just read a report from Barrett that said Batum's ankle is really sore and that Travis cant bend his finger. Barrett got his info from being at today's shoot around.

I just heard that. Not good news. He also said that every shot Travis took was nowhere near the basket. All airballs and way off. Considering all Travis does is spot up and shoot now, that doesn't bode well for us.

So ... no Batum and no Outlaw tonight. I would expect a starting lineup of:

    PG: Blake
    SG: Rudy
    SF: Roy
    PF: Aldridge
    C: Przybilla

    and backups:

    PG: Rodriquez
    SG: Bayless
    SF: Frye
    PF: Frye
    C: Oden

    Yikes.

Ouch. This is a bad time to have injuries to your main rotational players. We're gonna have to try and play small ball against the Suns. So far this year every time we go small it seems like teams make big runs on us. It's time for Bayless and Sergio to step up their games, big time.

It'd be nice if Webster was healthy enough to play. Hopefully Batum can at least play a little.

    Okay, how about:
    Blake
    Roy
    Aldridge
    Oden
    Przybilla

    The MONSTER lineup.

Phoenix would run all night long against that lineup.

You don't understand the whole point of the game then. Half of the game is keeping the other team from scoring.

Let them. I have yet to see a SF that can outrun Aldridge. If you get all the rebounds, it is kind of hard to get out and run.

Going up against the Big Uncalled Offensive Foul, I don't think Portland will be able to play both Oden and Przybilla significant minutes, due to fouls.

MB said on 95.5 that Nicolas will start, and Travis is going to play.

Don't leap out a window just yet, Grant Hill will be guarding LaMarcus on the other end... and it's in Portland and the Blazers are rested while they played last night. Also, Outlaw isn't listed as doubtful and here's guessing Batum plays.
