BTW, I'll say it here. If the Philly game is any indication, Roy's gonna be double or triple-teamed from here on out. He needs to realize this and (he, as well as his teammates) be prepared to get others involved in the offense. He won't be getting by with those spin right, spin left, drive to the hoop maneuvers all that much any more heading towards the end of the season and playoffs.
funny cause when we built our lead in the fourth the offense was flowing with rudy getting open looks. take out sergio and the ball was in roys hands in the iso offense and the flow stopped. i love roy and he's won us alot of games but sometimes it's better to ride the hot hand.
David Carr promised not to cut his hair until the Texans won 2 straight games... and it was more than a year before they finally did so. Hopefully the Beard Brothers don't have to wait that long! http://www.mopsquad.com/artman2/pub...ally_makes_the_cut_--_haircut_that_is_896.htm Ed O.
Then they will never be able to shave again and their beards will slowly but surely choke them to death. I admire their putting such life-or-death pressure on themselves, but I think they're pretty safe.
So is that the story behind all the beards? My wife keeps asking me why everyone has a beard. Guess I have a answer for her now.
Yes that is very true. That is why Lamarcus Aldridge becomes so important. There have been many here on the board that have contemplated that Aldridge might surpass Roy in scoring capacity at some point. I will admit Roy has surpassed my expectations for him scoring wise, completley. But that being said, Lamarcus has truly been a beast lately, with really the only lapses on scoring happening when the team completely forgets to use him. The hoop is really big to him right now. Feed him the ball. Get the pressure off of Roy. He will make the right decision.
too bad greg didnt start this when he still had his goin haha that shit woulda been bangin as hell by now
I was so proud of Brandon last night. During his post-game interview with Cheryl Miller, he related just about verbatim what I had stated above. Even though he still got his (quietly, I might add), I could see that he was "workin' it" .....really trying to get others involved last night. And, as Hasoos pointed out, Aldridge was the primary beneficiary. Just a great all-around effort by The Natural and his supporting cast. Kudos!
