On sportscenter this morning, they seriously said that we need to trade up for Mark fucking Sanchez. Why are people so fucking stupid?

One, in order to have any chance at actually getting Sanchez, we would have to find a way to get ahead of the Jaguars. The only team I could see even talking to us about trading is Cleveland, since they could use that #19 in a possible Cutler trade. But since Cleveland picks 5th overall, B.J. Raji is going to be there anyway. We have a QB of the future in Josh Johnson that we can develop. We don't have jack for DTs anywhere. We would absolutely take Raji with that pick. Fail number one.

Two, Sanchez is not NFL ready. He's coming out too early. Pete Carroll even acknowledged this (although not in public or via quotes), he knows that he's not ready and he'll get buttfucked in his early years, which will stunt his growth as a QB. Which will set us back even more, but Kiker does not seem to realize that. Fail number two.

This would be yet another blown 1st rounder that does absolutely nothing for the team. Clayton did okay in his rookie year, but he's been a bag of dicks ever since (which is exactly why dumbshit Dumbinik re-signed him), Cadillac is made of glass and doesn't do anything even when he's healthy, Gaines Adams is a disappointment (well hi there Calvin Johnson. coulda had you). Talib didn't even start over Philip Buchanon last year.

Wow now that I actually went through all of that, we do fucking suck at drafting.
