Jackson to have surgery on toe

    Well, at least he picked the right year and the right time to do it. Jackson's not going anywhere so we still need to figure out which of all these G/Fs to keep and which to try to get rid of. The more PT for them now, the better I guess, and without Jackson's usual 35-42 minutes per night it should open up a lot of it. Crawford is the only one I really want to see leave, although if Maggette left I wouldn't complain. I guess I'd let Azubuike, Morrow, or Belinelli go for the right trade, though I like all of them and would like to see them stay.

    With Jackson, I'm still concerned about where he fits in, leadership wise. Monta will lead by example but isn't going to get in anyone's face. Jackson is the only one who can do that and I didn't see it much this year, plus him going over the technical threshold and leading the team, if not the NBA, in turnovers, doesn't help the leading by example part.

    Good that he's doing this. Maybe that bum toe is the reason why he doesn't like to run back on defense?
