I'm not a season tix holder unfortunately (till next year) But I cant seem to get an answer when I email Blazers.com inquiries.. does anyone know when they would go on sale to the public? The day After clinching? I wanna get on at least 2 of those tix for me and the wife. Thanks

I am sure it won't be for a while. We have to know if we have home court or not.

My season ticket holder rep said he thought it would be a few days after they clinch. They are just going to sell them as Game A and Game B, so determining home-court advantage won't be an issue. Not knowing the dates for the games won't prevent the games from selling out in a matter of hours, if not minutes.

So, what happens with Game D if we don't have homecourt? I guess they wouldn't sell it until they knew there would be a 4th game.

The Blazers Director of Ticket Sales (Tyler something) told me that between the levy that the League puts on the team, and the amount of Season Ticket holders (both full- and half-season holders get priority for playoff tickets) there would probably not be many tickets available to the public at all.

How much do you think 100 level seats for a home playoff game in round one will average for? $200 a ticket? maybe double face value?

yikes. Talking about the online market like stubhub and craigslist (I got burned on craigslist for the first time this past christmas-time...fuckers, I should post their names online somewhere).

Well, first round tickets are costing me about 70% more than my season tix. And it keeps going up from there.

I'd say, conservatively, 2x face (which is almost double what the normal face is). For 2nd round and WCF...good luck, sir.

I have $500 saved up for NBA finals tix. hoody hooo.

actually I don't have it physically saved but I'll drop that much for finals tix...$750 for a championship clinching game.

for first and second round, I doubt I'll pay double face....not worth it unless its a game 7.

How the heck is that possible? First round tickets are the same cost as the regular season. Then the prices go up.

I do believe that those of us in the "special priced " sections are paying next years ticket prices for the first round. I can't remember for sure, but I believe that wa sthe case. So in other words, $26 a ticket to $45...Sound about right? It's late but I think that's how it worked out. Second round by the way for us, was about the same as well, with the large increases for the WCF and Finals.

That is correct. My $6.45 ticket will cost $10, but I'm no complaining. Nor will I complain if that same ticket cost me $50 during the finals.

you know, if and when we clinch, we need to start a MIXUM fund....people throw in 10-15 bucks each to buy Mixum blazer playoff ticket for the first game and airfare provided he:

    1. attends the game
    2. wears a blazers jersey
    3. agrees to post a pic of him holding a sign saying Blazers made the Playoffs 2009: I was wrong! in the RG commons area.

Didn't he also claim they'd win only 46 games (sorry, it's the truth)?

MIXUM is (or should be) duly befuddled, bewildered, and beleaguered....
