He'll be a good land wherever he transfers. Averaging 20 PPG as a freshman is pretty impresive even if you're playing for a team in a weak confernce like Liberty. And I doubt he really would of wanted to play with his brother. Stephen Curry would hog up all of his attention and it's not like Seth Curry is a bad player.
He should come to a certain Big 12 team. What are the rules on transfers again? Does he have to sit out a year?
I'd say COME TO KU. But we don't have many scholarships left, none IIRC, and that is without Lance, if he were to come. I think a year is right.
I would say come to Memphis, but we will already have the best freshman in the country next year with Xavier Henry, plus Wall/Evans, Cousins, and Henry would already make problems because they are star players who want the ball in their hands. Adding another guy who likes to score wouldn't help.
Yeah, he has to sit out a year, which makes this decision surprising if you ask me. Va Tech was on his trail back coming out of HS, but now he's on everyone's radar, so it should be interesting to see where he goes.
Good fuckin call. Hes headed to Duke: http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2009/basketball/ncaa/wires/03/29/2060.ap.bkc.duke.curry.0221/
Good decision by Curry. Even if he doesn't get to play much, or make it to the NBA, he's still going to get a Duke education.
If he gets lucky he could be a star sharpshooter at Duke, get drafted in the lotto and get paid millions to sit on his ass at the end of an NBA bench a la JJ Redick.
