TNT does alright with the west... some of their early games on doubleheaders are the games that are played down in Texas (as far east as you can go while still being in the Western Conference I guess) Espn is the garbage where you will catch Hawks Vs Bobcats or something.. I hate espn televised nba.. I miss Nba on NBC soooooo much!
I haven't recieved an email from my ticket rep as of yet. Where can we pick our tickets up at, the season ticket customer service desk, on the 10th? Thanks in advance!
I believe NBATV shows some playoff games as well. If they show Portland it looks like people out here will get screwed.
"Playoff Ticket Pick-Up Information Tickets will be available for pick up: Beginning April 10th (Trail Blazers vs. Lakers) at the Season Ticket Services Headquarters located by Entry A-6. April 13th-17th 8:30AM to 5:30PM in Suite 100 near the Box Office lobby. Please bring this e-mail along with picture ID to receive your tickets plus receive a $5 voucher AND a reusable grocery bag! If you would like your tickets shipped via UPS, we will be shipping tickets out April 13th. Please click here and fill out the form with the address you would like your tickets shipped to. Please note - UPS does not ship to PO Boxes."
I haven't got that email and I'm surprised that they would send it out when we haven't mathematically clinched a playoff birth.
There will probably be a torrent of the game if it's not on KGW, so at least you'd be able to download a video of the game, probably a few hours to a day afterwards.
Playoff tickets are not included in your season ticket price, obviously, so what season ticket holders are getting is first dibbs on tickets for the playoffs. I believe (You'd obviously want to check with your rep or whoever you talk to) that by signing up for season tickets next year, they will allow you to order playoff tickets for this year. I just bought my playoff tickets today and I got that offer because I am a quarter season ticket holder, and I can confirm that my seat price is normal ticket price for the 1st rd, then goes up. My seats are $18, $23, $30, and $50 by round.
What does that mean - torrent? Where is that? (Not that I'd be able to wait until the next day before checking the scores)
If you didn't get the email it's because your seats have been seized for the benefit of the media. Bummer dude.
Yes, jerkin' That said, I did see that there are a couple of sections in the 200 level that do not get playoff tix because they are reserved for media - not sure what's up with that but I assume they knew going in that they don't get playoff seats.
Tince, I hadn't recieved mine either so I emailed my rep and he sent me back the same information provided here in the thread. My email address needed updating, perhaps they've had an issue with your address also. I will say this, my season ticket rep is great about emailing me back right away whenever I had a question. I'd try getting in touch with yours, as apperantley they'd like to know how you'll be picking up your tickets.
Actually, there is something about season ticket holders losing seats to the media, as this February column from the O describes: http://www.oregonlive.com/tailgate/index.ssf/2009/02/dont_mind_me_but_these_seats_a.html
The article seems to be saying that all of Sections 208, 209, 223, 224 are "relocated" for the playoffs. Maybe it's really just "as needed" (i.e. they don't need as many for the first round and for the finals), but still - where the hell can they relocate a bunch of people to, and potentially four sections of people? Has anyone on here been relocated, or been told they might be?
Aren't those the sections behind the backboards? Why the hell woudl they make that the media seats? Sit the media up in the 300 level, and let fans move down.
