Pau became super efficient only in LA though. I'll take it anyway. :]

He leads the team in scoring efficiency as well at 62.3 TS%.

I'm not going to look it up, but I would say that probably puts him in 2nd behind Amare for volume players in scoring efficiency.

Kobe gets the ball in crunch time, you have to be the MVP of the Lakers first and a first option to even get consideration.

Big attention is being payed to Kobe, which helps him along. But I agree, he's been fantastic. Still in playoff time Kobe will shine

    Mr. Consistent.

He should definitely be 2nd team ALL-NBA.

Nah... Pau has been this efficient because he is now a Laker. He wasn't this good back in Memphis when he was the focal point of the offence. With Kobe getting all the attention it free's up some space for Pau to play his game.

But i agree that Kobe's play has been erratic. Around 35% fg the last 3 weeks i think.

    Alongside Kobe? LOL

Who do you think will get the SG spot in the 1st team ALL - NBA?

I think it'll be Wade coz' this is more of an Indiv. type of award. (D*mn, Wade breaks Kobe's streak)

Or can the All - NBA 1st team look like this: CP3 - Wade - Kobe - LBJ - Dwight??? :ghoti:

Are you serious? Kobe not on the 1st team?

    That is a joke.

I know it is. But it is a BIG possibility.

So how will they do it? Coz i know Wade is a lock for the 1st team.

    Wade - Kobe - LBJ - PF - Dwight? or CP3 - Wade - Kobe - LBJ - Dwight? :devilwink:

G-G-F-F-C I think is the format, I'm not positive.

    Wade-Kobe-LeBron-???-Dwight

I don't even think there is a remote chance they leave Kobe off the 1st team. That is just nonsense.

I haven't followed Timmy D all year. Has he been money this year? The Spurs have struggled.

2nd place in the West is struggling? They'll end up with probably around 54 wins.

I think the Ginobili injury is why they aren't close to the Lakers. They aren't the type of team that would be ahead of hte Lakers, but with Ginobili more, probably around 58-60 win season for them.

A lot of people thought they would give the Lakers' trouble. They haven't even come close to doing that.

The Spurs haven't really struggled. They've had tons of injury issues. Manu has missed a ton of games, Timmy D has missed his fair share, Parker missed some as well. If it wasn't for that, they wouldn't be as far back of the Lakers as they are.

And yes, Timmy has been money this year, at least in my book. He's averaging about 20pts, 11rbds, 4asts and 2blks if I'm correct.

I remember when Tim Duncan ate lunch with Jerry Krause and company in 2000. How nice that would have been. I think Hill/Duncan would have been the best combination, and would have won many champions. (Not being in Orlando, Hill wouldn't have slipped on water from the leak in the roof to ruin his career or however he got injured).

It'll be funny to see the Knicks suffer the same fate in 2010.
