Re: Tito Ortiz: Talking Be Hard My favourite Ortiz line of that night was when they were showing the fight from the overhead cam and he said, quote, "this here is the fight from a birds-eye view; if you we're a bird, this is exactly how the fight would look." O rly?

Re: Tito Ortiz: Talking Be Hard ^ The story behind Penn and the Gracie family is that BJ got his purple belt very quickly under Ralph, but he was petulant and wanted to be a black belt. So BJ ran down to Andre Pederneiras in Brazil (Nova Uniao) and got it from him. In fact, Pederneiras gave him his brown and his black just in time for competitions, both in the same year (1999). Going from nothing to black in three years is pretty unheard of, less so for a 22-year old. Even going from brown to black within a year is pretty amazing. BJ was good and was at black belt level, I'm sure, but as anyone who has been around martial arts knows, technique is the last aspect. But cutting corners has been BJ's trademark, hasn't it?
Re: Tito Ortiz: Talking Ain't Easy / BJ Penn is... "The Doucebag" [videos] Wow, this guy has it in for BJ. Not as funny as the other one but still worth watching for the creative approach.
