Yep, why mess with a good thing right now. I like how we're able to bring in Outlaw, then Rudy, then big G.O. off the bench. Just a wave of players off the bench. And seeing G.O. walk to the sidelines to check in seems to give the RG a boost of energy at the end of the first quarter.
Ha! I checked out OLive before I began posting on BBF. Back then, the forum had more L*ker fans than Blazer fans. Unless things have drastically changed, I'm not surprised they consider actual Blazer fans to be "lame." The inhabitants of that cesspool deserve each other.
Back on topic. Oden may have more talent than Joel, but over the course of the season, Joel has made the larger contribution to the team's success. As the saying goes "dance with who brought you!"
Greg starting is essential for playoff success IMO. Otherwise we'll start the game off playing 4-5 on offense.
at this point i'd say keep starting joel and bringing oden off the bench. it's not like the blazers ever consistently did a good job of getting oden involved early when he was starting. coming off the bench probably gets oden more touches in his first few minutes of the game which gets him more involved in the game.
If Frye were a better player than Aldridge, as Oden is better than Przybilla, then it would be very much like that. I guess the fact that Fyre is much, much, much worse than Aldridge, while Oden is as good or better than Przybilla, is why it's only "almost" the same.
