This is amazing news for my school NC State. John Wall (#1 Recruit) was about to commit to Memphis and now it seems like his #1 school will now be NC State because he lives 10 minutes from campus. Also Cousins and Henry who are going to un-sign from Memphis could follow him to State. Cousins was looking at NC State pretty hard and rumor has it that he wants to be with John Wall. NC State has the scholarships for all three players because Trevor Ferguson and Brandon Costner quit the team.
This is the first I've heard of Wall to NC State. I'm hearing Memphis, Baylor, Kansas, and Kentucky(to follow Cal).
Well if you look at the Schools that the top three guys are interested in: Wall- Duke (Seth Curry may have taken his scholarship), Miami, Baylor, Kansas, NC State Henry- Kansas Cousin- NC State and Kansas State Kansas is currently at the maximum of 13 scholarships, Collins and Aldrich would have to leave in order free up scholarships one of which is promised to Lance Stevenson. So Kansas may not be able to offer Henry a scholarship. This leads me to NC State who has 2 scholarships now that I look at it. 7 returning scholarship players, 4 committed recruits. Cousins has NC State on his top 2 if he decommits from memphis, and he is rumored to want to play with Wall. So the only school both Cousins and Wall have in common is the school that is right down the road from John Wall.
Cousins has Washington in their as well, and the scholarship thing will be sorted out. I've heard rumblings about Morningstar doing something, but that's talk. And If X comes, chances are Lance isn't, that is why he delayed his announcement. If they come together, cool. The scholarship things always have a way of sorting themselves out.
Cousins has a slim chance of going to Memphis if we get Anderson. His new list includes Mizzou and Memphis is really making a huge push for Mizzou coach, Mike Anderson, which is one of the main reasons Cousins wants to go to Mizzou.
LMAO When a reporter from a local news station in Memphis asked Calipari why last Friday he said, "Memphis is where I want to coach." Calipari acted like he didn't remember saying that. We all know if you got an offer from UK you would of accepted it, at least be honest about it.
