I think we should do whatever possible to go after Ricky Rubio! Odds are he's staying in Europe another year and not many teams in the lottery can handle telling their fans to wait another year. But Bayless/savings could be very appealing to many teams. Say hypothetically if Blake/Bayless were out and we got Ricky's rights then we brought over Koponen and Freeland, brought in Andre Miller (little 2 year deal 6 mill or so) and signed Desmond Mason (lives in P-town, played for Nate, hard worker, great on defense, can't love being on the thunder) we'd add a lot of toughness to our team. Not that Bayless and Blake are real slouches but Miller and Mason are level headed high character vets who want to win and are getting older/wouldn't mind the reduced minutes. And the alley-oops Miller and Mason would bring would be sick. Miller/Sergio/Koponen Roy/Fernandez/Batum Webster/Mason/Batum Aldridge/Outlaw/Freeland Oden/Pryzbilla we're a little crowded but when's the last time at least one guy on the team hasn't been injured?
