Do you guys train for basketball? If you do, what is your routine?I don't do much compared to other players, but I am working on trying to do more. I haven't done all of my training lately because winter weather hasn't quit yet, once it stops I will do everything on a regular basis.I try to do it every day, but I end up doing it every other day (well atleast till I get a basketball hoop, then I won't have to walk to the park).*50 right handed layups while making a move to the hoop.*50 left handed layups while making a move to the hoop.*150 freethrows (50 before, 100 after).*50 shots from each elbow, foul line, each baseline, and each 45 angle.*15 three pointers from the three point line at the spots above.*practice dribbling.*And that is all I do right now, but I want to get some line sprints in while dribbling the ball. I upped it from last year, when I just did 100 layups (50 each hand), 100 freethrows, and 100 shots.I don't always do this in one day, I sometimes break it up and do some of it the first day and the rest of it the next, but I do the freethrows everyday.I haven't been doing it on a normal basis lately because the basketball season just ended and the weather has still been pretty bad. But once it warms up a bit more I will be doing my routine (I play a lot right now, I just haven't been doing my above routine yet).
Thanks, I try to be dedicated, I admit some days I don't get around to doing it. But I want to start JV next year for my basketball team, so I have been working hard, I want to be a go to guy.I thought I would make this thread to see what everyone else does and if I set my goals high enough or if I should change my routine any.

I work out everyday (Stamina and Strength) and try to get in 15 minutes of shooting (100 Shots) to keep my arms lose. In the summer, I plan to put uo somewhere around 200 shots a day, 15 minutes of ballhandling, and lots of stamina and strength training
