It's from draftexpress. People seem to be pretty hot and cold on Tyreke Evans. I'm definitely on the hot side. I'd say his upside is a Brandon Roy type player, maybe with less of a jumpshot and more defense. I think hes a pretty damn good prospect. Hes got legit PG type skills, a very nice handle, makes plays with his passing. But at the same time hes got go-to scoring ability. Hes got solid height for the position but great length and strength. I wouldn't call him explosive but hes smooth and crafty which allows him to glide by defenders (again, like a Brandon Roy). Hes also a really solid defender. I think the "out-of-control" knock on him is blown out of proportion. He was turnover prone at Memphis but he was also a freshman who was expected to dominate the ball, play PG, and be the top scorer. I thought his decision making was pretty damn good considering his age level and experience. It will get better with time and good coaching.
He's declared for the draft, not a shocker. http://www.sportingnews.com/blog/th...tyreke_evans_to_declare,_surge_up_draft_board Rest of Article
