This is not good news. We have to many holes on this team, and Stafford is going to have a worst O-line then he did at Georgia. Plus Bulldogs and Yellow Jackets dont get along!
This is great news! LOL. After his workout I was sure we were gonna hear that he did great, no matter how he performed. I still think Mayhew would prefer to trade down and get some extra picks. If we do get Stafford, at least we'll have the most talented QB in my lifetime as a Lions fan. The online isn't as bad as it has seemed. We do need to patch up the interior, and eventually replace Backus. But Culpepper and Kitna held the ball way too long (as they always have everywhere they've played) and didn't know how to just dump the ball off before the pressure got there. If we draft Stafford he'll be getting rid of the ball quickly and they'll be a heavy dose of Kevin Smith and Mo Morris. We HAVE to get Stafford a pass catching TE in the 3rd round. He needs to have a reliable safety valve in the middle of the field.
