He has done very little over what other candidates have done. His numbers are nothing spectacular, he isn't top 5 in any category like the others are, and his team, while players have been injured, has been healthy enough throughout season to ge tto the record they are at now. As for supporting cast, no way in hell is it worse than Rockets, Lakers, Cavs, etc... Camby, Boykins and Martin haven't been hurt enough for me to say they were close to non-factors this season.I'd say top 10 candidate, but he shouldn't be even mentioned with Nash, Kobe, or Bron.</div>The only people I rank above Melo this season for mvp are:Steve NashKobe BryantLebron JamesDirk NowitzkiCarmelo Anthony
Hey, balloholic.I think I heard your name on KOTc...maybe he was alchoholic, I dunno...anyway, Carmelo is definitely a CANDIDATE, but is not a winner of it. He's KIND of a player to be in the MVP talk, but no assurance.
if carmelo leads the nuggets to a 82-0 season and lebron finally makes the playoffs...then lebron would get the MVP...the media luvs to hang on bron's nuts.
