Crawford's an 80% free throw shooter and he misses two in a row to close out the 4th. 5 of 10 for the night... uggg Get this mental midget out of Oakland, please! Maybe the guy needs to take more games off to practice his free throws.
Great defense as well. When Udrih dribbled toward the basket at the end of 4th quarter, Crawford was neither stopping him or running back to possible 3 pts shooter. Just standing in the middle of nowhere, causing Udrih to walk right in for a lay up...
LOL. Here's another funny one. Al Harrington implied "that the Warriors' players would have been happier had Nellie stepped down and assistant coach Keith Smart stepped into the lead role," and he called Nelson a gansta because he does anything he wants. Yeah right. Nelson isn't going to leave $12 M, or whatever he's got left, on the table. He's even admitted that he does his job just for the money. I thought Nelson was richer than most by NBA standards, but I could be wrong. http://www.hoopsworld.com/Story.asp?story_id=12115
While just a small sample, at the start of the 4th the Warriors blocked a shot and had a fastbreak the other way with Monta on the wing and Morrow flaring out, Crawford instead dribbles up and forces a leaner from 15. That's got to just be a killer to play with. If he's just a combo and not a point guard, give it up to Monta to bring it up. In fact that's the biggest problem for the Ws at the PG spot, no one really brings it up aggressively looking to set someone else up in their comfort zone; Crawford? Where's my opening? CJ? Nice pull up, but not a creator. Sjax? Too slow. Monta? He can do it but then you are wasting the explosion from the wing. Baron was a poor shooter and could be selfish but he at least brought it up aggressively and looked to set up the others like a PG.
Get it directly from the horse's mouth or is that the rear end? I could not get a direct link for the vid, so click on link. Go to page 8. Click on one on one vid "Up Close with Don Nelson." http://www.hoopsworld.com/video/#
