Last time they played, although Kidd had a great game, Nash had 27 Points, 6 Assists and 3 Rebounds in an 11 Point win. I will admit however, that in the past 9 games, the difference hasn't been Kidd's offense, it's been his defence. Last night he annoyed Chauncey Billups, and tonight he did a solid job on Steve Nash
I know it was just one game, but it is the point I am making. Steve Nash can't defend premier point guards, Kidd can. That is the difference between a playoff team and championship team.
He also gave Billups a reminder of who the king is a few days ago too. Kidd is showing that you do not have to be a scorer to be a dominater and a winner.
If this is who is better in their prime then Kidd kills this one. If it is right now then there is still a debate here. I still think Nash is better at running his up-tempo offense then Kidd has done with his half-court offense. But of course, it is Frank's choice what kind of offense they use.
Come on have you seen what Kidd just did the Billups and Nash? Both were scorless to the 4th quarter(well Billups scored 7 in the fourth but thats it, Nash went scorless) and both times we beat a elite team.
Kidd has had a scoreless game this year as well. Oh wow. One game. Doesn't really matter. Nash only played 26 minutes as well. It's not like Kidd is this god who has never had a scoreless game. Get real.

I never said Kidd was god. I will be the first one to say Kidd is not a scorer. Kidd can shut down people like he just did to 2 of the best point guards in the leauge. And Nash would have played more if Kidd wasnt so good and help kill the Suns lol.
Nash is better now but when its all said and done, Kidd will be viewed as the better playerBetter defender and better rebounder and career assist numbers still favor Kidd

Get real.</div>But that one game happenned against Kidd, and showed the main reason Kidd is better....defense. You downgraded defense for PG's before, but that game shows how important PG defense is.
I can still make a case for Kidd being just as good a playmaker as Nash, but I'll just sit back and be quiet
