    It would have been impossible to do it because Borat is too recognizable after the movie. Plus I think that character has expired by now anyway.

    Yeah, I don't think anyone wants more Borat. Borat was around for years (from Da Ali G Show onward). Bruno is funnier today, if less inventive.

    If they were going to make another Borat they likely needed to film it at the same time as the first one so people wouldn't know who he was. I am sure they probably had enough film for two movies anyway, but this one might be really good.

    Borat was funny himself, but the best part was the people who were unsuspecting chumps in the film. Like those college kids in the rv who fucked themselves by spewing anti semitic stuff and then sued. (If I remember correctly, a bunch of people sued)

    So, this new movie looks to follow that format so it should be good too.
