Don't know if this is old news but..

there is a show in NBA TV called NBA replay. Today I watched it and it focused on Steve Nash and Channing Frye. These type of shows is why it's hard for me to bash Frye. Even when he makes a complete bonehead move, I just think of "wow this guy is more then a basketball player, he is a actual person with feelings and opinions, and he seems like a really nice guy". Frye may not be the man on the court, but he sure is off it. Anyone who can should check it out.

Nash is the man too, on and off.

No doubt Channing's a great guy. Doesn't make it any easier to watch him play SG though.

I've been holding out hope that Channing will retire and return to Portland and take over the color commentary/analyst role when Rice retires/(dies?). Love his personality, but his game as a hustle/defense guy off the bench -- which is what you usually hope for from the backup 4 position -- just doesn't quite cut it.

However, best of luck to him whatever happens after this season.

I sort of take the same route with Damon. Not a great player, but off the court was awesome.

Frye plays great every other year, so he's due next year.
