For the Lakers, Chris Mihm. This guy has become extremely fundamentally sound, has a great jump hook with both hands right now. Statistically he isn't much better than last season but his overall game has really improved.

For the Raptors I think it is Mike James. He has been a top tier scorer for us. Great shooter, he has been explosive and able to get by his oppenents. He has also been very clutch for us. His ppg has increased by 7.

I won't be surprised if I hear different feedback about the lakers' most improved (counting all the Lakers fans on this site, not that it's a bad thing), but first come first serve for nowI wonder if there are any Bucks or 'Blazers fans here...well, time will tellI have a question: Could this be moved anywhere else? I want everybody to pitch in on it, but I'm certain it will be buried in this section. [IMG]

BCB is a buck fan. He will get this. I don't think there are any Blazer fans. Why don't you go ahead and do that one.

Twolves-Ricky Davis. He has been a great shoter for them this year and can cut through the lanes and finish well. He has been a good passer this year.

Well I'll do some easy ones. For the Hornets it's gotta be David West. The Hawks gotta be Zaza Pachulia. For the Suns, DIAW!

When I was thinking about the Sixers' MIP, it really came down to either John Salmons or Kyle Korver, but I'm giving the nod to Korver. The stats don't tell the whole story. Just watching him play this year compared to last year, he is a better overall player and is becoming more of a complete player. He has added to his offensive repetoire, and he is the best team defender on the Sixers. He makes all the hustle plays, everything. He is just adding to his game, and becoming more and more of a complete player than he was last year.

Since the sonics are taken but i wouldnt count Wilcox cause he just started for the sonics which is a team that needed an actual good big man. And wilcox will get his minutes with the sonics unlike the clippers. Ray has risen slightly rashard is the same ridnour is the same..... after serious thinking ima just go wit wilcox. Cause collison seems to be injury prone. Damien wilkins is another sonic probable but he doesnt seem to get his credibility for a pretty good defensive and offensive player. WILCOX 4 SONICS!!! his last game was real nice.Memphis- Pau Gasol. He is a F/C who leads the team in Points rebounds, ASSISTS, and blocks, he's doing it all for the grizz this yearRaptors- Id say Bosh cause theres some actually good PF's on that team not PG's Mike james can steal the show all he wants at that position on the raptors. Don't get me wrong he has improved very well. If he stays consistent the way he has been playin now i will definetly change my pick to mike james

For the Sixers its John Salmons. He has potential to be a go to guy. But lateley he has been doing nothing for us.

Heat - Dwyane Wade. He finally learnt how to play within a offense without the ball.

For the Cavaliers it is hard to say. A lot of players like Sasha, AV, Henderson, and others looked like they were getting better, Sasha came in and started for the Cavs and they won the first 5 or 6 games when he started and Sasha was scoring like 15 points a game as a starter, then he started going down hill for him. AV plays like AV, but he had some great moments when he helped win the game for the Cavaliers (maybe BCB remembers when he took that charge on Redd that gave the Cavs the win against the Bucks one time this year), but he has recently really started to screw up, and his lack of low post defence against big men and his not so great offensive game is coming through again. Henderson had really improved from the start of the season, but I wouldn't give him the award for the team. Besides, he hasn't been doing so great lately.Snow hasn't improved that much, and he has been better over the course of his career. His defense has been great for the Cavaliers and he has picked up on his passing ability some, he is a pretty good passer. He has started hitting the open jumper (really open and from within 15/12 feet), he has had some clutch D for the Cavaliers. But, he has been a better shooter over the course of his career and he really hasn't had a career year. It is hard to give him the "most improved team award" when he has been better. The reason I am considering him is because I didn't know what to expect from him coming into this season with Jeff gone and Jones coming in.Flip on the other hand. He should get the award because he has stepped up so greatly and he wasn't playing this good over in Seattle, he has given the Cavaliers hope during the Hughes injury. He deserves this award, the problem is that he hasn't been on the Cavaliers that long and he played this way from day one, so he hasn't been the "team's" most improved player, but overall he has improved the most at of any of the other players.I say give it to him or AV, but Flip deserves it more.

[IMG] I really don't know what you are watching, but the kid has a LONG way to go to even reach half that potential. He is a ballhogging AI/Kobe/T-Mac/LeBron/Wade wannabe. He has potential, but his stupid mistakes, inconsistent play, and ballhogging mentality are just a few things that are keeping him from being the player he was expected to be.

Wizards - Caron ButlerTo tell you the truth, I like this kid more than Hughes. His long-range jumpshot has improved greatly since his rookie year in Miami. He's been utilizing it well, and he also likes to fly to the hoop for the jam. Defensively, I'd say he's average, but it's nice that he is a respectable replacement for Hughes.

OKay, so there's something to settle. For Raptors, Bosh or Mike James? And i just thought of Wilcox off the top of my head, it probably should be Rashard Lewis, Ray Allen, Luke, or Wilkens. I couldn't decide which.
