Utah and NO both potentially clench playoff berths tonight and we haven't? We have split with both of these teams and Utah has a brutal end of schedule?

    Am I missing something?

Utah can't clinch tonight. Where did you hear that they could?

If the Blazers win and Phoenix loses tonight, the Blazers will clinch a playoff spot.

On the ticker on ESPN, that's what confused me!

Utah can only get win #47 tonight. Suns will win 48 if they win out. I think if Utah loses tonight, Phoenix has a shot of catching them. Utah will lose all their remaining home games. And I think Phoenix will make a push to win out. That means that the Jazz will have to beat both the Warriors and Clippers at home to clinch the playoffs. I think one of them could play spoiler and kick Jazz into the lotto. Like I said, it all comes down tonight. If the T-Wolves somehow win in Utah (very doubtful), Utah will be in serious trouble.

You do realize they have one of the best home records right? I highly doubt they will lose to Minnesota tonight. I do however think Utah could be the odd man out.

Utah have a 5 game lead with only around 7 games to go, I seriously doubt they will blow it. Suns are playing just as shitty and lost to the Kings. Utah could potentially clinch tonight I believe with a win & Phx lost b/c they own the tiebreaker, while someone like Portland is dead even in the tiebreaker.

Yeah, it was weird. The bottom of the ESPN ticker said "New Orleans, Utah, and Miami Try to Clinch" with no mention of Portland. Mistake or just no respect for Portland?

If Phoenix loses we clinch no matter what ESPN says.

Mistake. Portland can clinch if the Suns lose. The Jazz cannot clinch tonight.

Ya, they just lost tonight. . . back to back losses. . . Utah is in the rear view mirror. Their remaining schedule will kill them.

Shaq isn't a L*ker anymore, MIXUM. I know you still have a poster of him wearing your beloved Purple & Piss, but he's moved on.
